Biography
Amber L. Tucker, Esq. previously served as a prosecutor for the Maine Attorney General’s Office, specializing in felony drug crimes, and as an Assistant Public Defender in Tampa, Florida, where she represented thousands of individuals in felony and misdemeanor cases. Amber has tried over 60 cases to verdict, more than half of which were jury trials and has litigated numerous evidentiary hearings. Amber has extensive experience representing clients in family law, criminal law, personal injury, and medical malpractice.
Amber was an adjunct professor of sociology and criminology at the University of New England and has taught seminars in drug law and drug crime investigation to law enforcement officers throughout Maine.
Amber lives in Portland, Maine. She is originally from Rhode Island, but grew up in Fryeburg, Maine. She lived in Florida for eleven years before returning to Maine to be closer to her family. Amber enjoys boating, sunshine, and traveling to Gillette Stadium to watch the New England Patriots.
